Advantages of the UroEASIE (TM) is that it is lightweight and compact and therefore can be shipped easily. The simulator also has improved durability due to a new design with an increased wall thickness. The rubber lip at the base of the simulator prevents movement of the tray when the cystoscope is advanced into the specimen. Due to the shape of the simulator mold, the specimens are fixed in the correct anatomical position. The use of real tissue has the advantage of human-like realism when it comes to using lithotripsy for ureteral stones, resecting bladder tumors or treating prostate hyperplasia.
